Our partners participated in the Asian Financial Forum 2025 in Hong Kong

14.01.2025

Our partners participated in the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) 2025 in Hong Kong, one of Asia's most prestigious annual gatherings for financial industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.

The forum provided an important platform for structured meetings with representatives from the Hong Kong government and the FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK). Neil Tan, FTAHK Chairman, introduced the WAIFC delegation to the association's key members. The WAIFC delegation also held meetings with Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and Treasury, and with representatives of the SFC and HKMA, covering topics ranging from virtual asset regulation to the development of the Greater Bay Area as an integrated financial and technology cluster.

Bilateral meetings with FinTech companies at various stages of development — from early-stage startups to well-funded scale-ups — allowed our team to identify potential market entry opportunities and investment connections for clients based in Europe and the Middle East who are looking to establish a presence in Asia.

FinTech Consult's consistent participation at AFF over multiple consecutive years reflects our deep commitment to the Hong Kong ecosystem and our conviction that it remains one of the most important FinTech hubs in Asia, offering a unique combination of international connectivity, regulatory sophistication, and access to the world's largest financial market.
