Social benefits enable people who are dependent on state support to participate in society in Germany. With the SocialCard, benefit recipients receive uncomplicated and non-discriminatory access to their social benefits and thus, equal participation in public life.

At the same time, the SocialCard relieves the responsible authorities and administrations. Manual processes such as cash payments or check issuance to people without a German bank account are eliminated. When the SocialCard is used, the payment processes for social benefits are completely digitalized. This is because, especially in times of a shortage of skilled workers and a simultaneous increase in the number of benefit recipients, every process-related simplification relieves the burden on employees in public administration.
