Orbiter.de GmbH was founded in 2011, but our history in providing solutions for device identification goes back to the mid-nineties. At that time Hannes Bauer, the founder of Orbiter.de, used the technology to recognize devices reappearing on the first German search engine – Kolibri.de, which he had just launched.

Today, the Orbiter Group provides the best technology in the market for the identification and recognition of devices accessing websites – without using cookies or complex probability algorithms based on online behavior. We call this cookieless device tracking technology “Device Fingerprinting”.

Device Fingerprinting can be used for detecting risk in the application process or defining fraud in your advertising program – or just to monitor your website audience.
